Westcoast/AOR Music

Hey.

Perhaps you can help me.
I really like those "over-the-top-produced" 80's High-Tech Westcoast albums like:

Alan Gorrie - Sleepless Nights (produced by Jay Gruska/Alan Gorrie)
Peter Cetera - Solitude/Solitaire (produced by Michael Omartian)
Kenny Loggins - Vox Humana (produced by Kenny Loggins/Michael Omartian/David Foster)
Agnetha Fältskog - I Stand Alone (produced by Peter Cetera)
Jack Wagner - All I Need & Lighting Up The Night (produced by Glen Ballard/Clif Magness)

You get the picture...
If anyone could recommend similar albums I would be very grateful.

Cheers!
HH

Device - 22B3 ... is another album that could be included in the list. Great musicians, great songs and wonderful sound with fantastic production. This album really sends out positive vibes. And Holly Knight is a real cutie :)
Marc Jordan - 'Talking Through Pictures' is the top of the list for me.
Does George Benson's '20/20' count as a High-Tech Westcoast album? I find it strangely compelling anyway.
1) Brother And Brother: Somewhere Out There
2) 4 Reasons Unknown: 4 Reasons Unknown
3) Tony Baez: Tony Baez
4) Jato: Jato
5) Vienna: Guess What ?
6) Go For It: Go For It
7) Stabilizers: Tyranny
8) Millions & Millions: Millions & Millions
9) Laban: Caught By Surprise
10) Drama: Scene From A Distance
some 80's high-tech albums and groups
Hey i also love the sound of the mid 80 west coast. Please check out the "Banded Together" record with Lee Ritenour and Lava with the record "Fire" from 1984. If you are ready to widen the taste a little you might want to check out Scritti Politti Cupid & Psyche and some of Level 42 records from that time as well. You might want to check out the band "Wax" as well.
My favorite mid-80's high tech productions are:
Peter Cetera-Solitude/Solitaire
Cats Can Fly-s/t
Jack Wagner-Lighting Up the Night
Michael Thompson Band-How Long
Louise Goffin-This is the Place
Chicago-18
Richard Marx-s/t
