Looks like I'm a bit late for the Vancouver show!(lol).I saw Richard in '86 or '87 here in Vancouver(Vannelli was here taround the same time),and got a chance to meet him--he's just a little,but a real dynamo on stage,and what a great AOR/Power Ballad voice he's got.I think he wore(which was a fashion at the time)a marble-wash jean suit,which is worth a coupla chuckles.Suffice it to say,the show kicked ass,but most of the audience were drunk,so they'd be yakking through the ballads,which annoyed the living tar out of me.The only concerts(imo)worth going to are the ones with band's that have a core following,a subculture,a "cult" following--the fans are there to drink up the great music,not get schnockered on booze and act like Scottish soccer fans(or Vancouver Stanley Cup rioters.lol).Anyhow,Roger,thanks for the page.
