West Coast Ballads

What is or which are the ultimate all time west coast ballads? Let's discuss it! What's your favourite? What we all can agree is that maybe some of the most beautiful melodies ever being made deserve to be entitled belonging to this very Sub Genre of the West Coast-Family of music. There is another group previously discussed in the site focusing on the mid 80-ties High-tech style westcoast/aor. The fact that the West Coast genre embodies several different musical styles is something we may need to become more aware of and therefore also to become better at identifying and become more aware of these sub genres.

Here's a great Scaninavian West Coast ballade: Here's a link to Björn Skifs singing West Coast with a Swedish/Norwegian band (in 1983): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcLr_J9pS2I&context=C392ff6cADOE...

Warren Wiebe has been one of the singers with many great west coast music ballads. His Foster works, the contribution to many Japanese releases and latest the Steve Dorff album.

Hey Kenneth . I was just using a photo found online of David Foster since he is behind many so called West Coast Ballads and it is only chosen for the purpose to represent the Genre Goup Photo.

Hi Lars - Is the picture of this group an official David Foster release - can you update on details?
