Jeffrey Thomas Porcaro April 1, 1954 - August 5, 1992

Sunday August 5th 2012 will be the 20 years since we lost Jeff Porcaro. With his incredible drumming and personallity he touched many people around the world. With his awesome musicianship he made the groove of so many studio recordings, he was the king of shuffle and with Toto he created so many hit songs that will never be…See More

Chasing Violets

Singers/Songwriters Sarah & Mélissa Fontaine are certainly no strangers to small sold out clubs. Their unique style reflects an influence of Melodic and Classic rock by bands that range from The Eagles to Yngwie…See More

Hi, Kenneth==
I'd be happy to speak with you for BlueDesert. I enjoy your site, and many of the artists that make 'West-coast' music. I'm not a real authority on them however. I can only talk about what shapes my my music. Keep in touch.

Hi, Kenneth--
Nice to meet you. I was checking out BlueDesert. Some interesting stuff. Let me know what I can do for you. There is a book coming out about Westcoast artists by some Belgian twins. Have you heard about it? There are many fotos and stories.

Hello again,Kenneth--Wow!You've met some real heavy-hitters there,in your photos--I've (only) had the privelege of meeting two real studio-monsters--David Foster and Steve Porcaro--they were working on the Payolas album here way back in '84-'85.Bobby Colomby too,but he was a bit of a jerk(I'm sure he's a lot happier now in his career,what with the massive success of Chris Botti and the last Jeff Lorber album,which,if you like Fusion,is amazing!).Great "feel" drummer,as well.Talk later...
